(Rags and tatters – Carnival pastries)
Ingredients
- ½ Kg. flour
- 4 eggs (2 whole ones + 2 yolks)
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 small glass hard liquor
- 300 gr. melted butter
- a pinch of salt, vanilla, lemon
Preparation
Method
Let dough rest and then roll out with machine, cut into
lozenges and deep-fry in boiling oil.
Let “stracci” drain on blotting paper and
sprinkle with sugar.
