Il Frantoio is offering interesting riding holidays where we combine half and full day rides to discover parts of the Tuscan landscape which are only visible on horse back. Guests will discover the historical and cultural beauties of the Cortonese country side.
Are holidays are flexible to individual needs and guests are welcome to combine there riding days with tranquil trips to near by Purigia, Florence and Siena.
We take care of the guests personally and speak fluent Italian and English. We welcome all levels of riders and are horses are well trained and familiar with the surrounding area.

Flexible Program

Day 1:
Welcome drink in the Frantoio. Tour of the old mill and maneggio to meet the horses and discuss riding days.

Day 2:
Half day ride starting at 10 am discovering the foothills of Cortona and passing the first settlements from the Etruscans. Returning to the maneggio for a lunch fixed from our old wood fire with mouth watering dishes from the Tuscan tradition.

Day 3:
This is a full day ride where we cross the mountain and discover the’ Strade Del Vino- wine routes. Stopping twice for a delicious picnic of cheese and salamis from the region ’and a tour of a local winery

Pries and Dates:
September through to November and March through to late July

Horse riding and organized meals are 300 Euros per person

Family rates also available 700 Euros (based on two adults, two children )
